The Aetherlight: Chronicles of the Resistance

is a multiplayer adventure game in which players are Resistance recruits in an underground movement whose mission is to overthrow a usurper Emperor and restore the world of Aethasia to its rightful Ruler.

Aethasia is a steampunk world and players are sent on quests, collect items, craft gadgets, weapons and outlandish outfits, and battle automatons, as they engage on missions to restore Great Engines and rid the world of a corrosive fog.

Astute players will recognize echoes with the epic story of the Bible at key points: characters, major plot shifts, life lessons, and personal encounters. The Aetherlight is a story as old as time, reimagined for a digital age.

Designer

This MMO is an established game with a dedicated fan base. We are taking the game from a chapter purchase to a monthly subscription platform. With this, I have been designing new enemies, assets, and levels. We are expanding the world and making changes to the way the player interacts with the world and each other.
